The climax of the two-days Economic, Trade and Investment Forum was marked with a gala dinner rooted on strengthening Senegambian arts and culture. The event has its main guest being the Minister for Tourism and Culture Hon. Hamat Bah and his Senegalese counterpart - Aliou Sow.

The gallery marked with display of art and culture by lead performing artists from Senegal - Titi and The Gambia’s Jaliba Kuyateh marks an embodiment of culture and heritage between the two countries. In a raft of crafted speeches by the two culture ministers including the Gambia’s Foreign Affairs Minister - Dr Momodou Tangara, relations between the two countries are symbiotic but bonded with bloodlines spanning for centuries. The urge by Gambia’s firebrand politician and tourism minister - Hon Hamat Bah has been for the two countries to strengthen relations as advanced by the two heads of state, and improve trade and investment opportunities without let or hindrance.

The ceremony capping the first historic partnership between The Gambia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (GiEPA), the Agence Nationale chargee de la Promotion des Investissements et des Grands Travaux au Senegal (APIX) accorded recognition to deserving companies that supported the exercise. Key Businesses that supported the events are predominantly Special Investment Certificate holders including Bell, GACH Global, SRN Steel, Nassim Trading. Others include Transvie - a senegalese international health company who are currently working on transforming health coverage for Gambians.
